I'm on retreat this weekend. I've already completed 4 hair things for Punkin to wear to ballet, a really cute apron with cats (reversible!), a flannel nightie for me (!), 3 pair of pajama pants for The Beard, whose birthday I'm missing to be here, 2 pair of pajama pants for Punkin, 1 pair of pajama pants for me (!) [with pockets (!!)], and I cut out a pajama top for Punkin, but I'm a little pajamaed out right now, so I think I may change projects.
I've also eaten copious amounts of food--some good, but way too much of the other, yummy kind--had a lovely afternoon nap, and talked and talked and talked. Retreats are the best! Only sewing camp is better, and that's because it lasts longer.
Tomorrow's projects include trying out the wrap method from this book. I brought some colorful fabric and the clothesline, and my plan is to pack everything up tomorrow and work on that until it's time to go. I'm not even going to list the things that I brought and didn't get to. I'm focusing on what I DID get done--quite a bit, and you have to throw in the relaxation factor.
I hope to finish the Baby Surprise Jacket. If not tonight, then maybe in the car tomorrow. I don't have that much left to knit.
